Sembilan Daesang (Hadiah Utama) diberikan tahun ini termasuk Song of the Year yang jatuh kepada BTS meski mereka tak tampil di AAA 2021. Daesang lainnya diberikan kepada aespa dan Stray Kids.

Pada Kamis (1/12), ajang penghargaan Asia Artist Awards (AAA) 2021 berlangsung di KBS Arena Hall, dengan Leeteuk Super Junior dan Jang Won Young IVE sebagai pembawa acara. Sejumlah aktor dan penyanyi populer berhasil membawa pulang penghargaan Daesang di ajang ini.
Diselenggarakan oleh Star News dan Star Continent, upacara tahunan Asia Artist Awards pertama kali dimulai pada 2016 dan menghormati aktor dan penyanyi di seluruh Asia. Dengan demikian, tahun ini menjadikannya gelaran ke-6 dari ajang penghargaan tersebut.
